Come see what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible. Our class meets weekly during the school year. Each class participant receives a course book with a commentary and home study questions. Each week, participants participate in small group discussions and a large group teaching. From time to time, fellowship meals will provide special times of sharing and relationship building within the class.

Currently Studying: James, Genesis

Although Genesis is an ancient book, it speaks to some of the biggest questions we

have today: Is there a God? If so, what is He like? Why is there evil in the world? Why

are we here, and where can we find purpose and hope?

In this course, which covers the first 22 chapters of Genesis, participants will see that God created a beautiful world and gave people a noble calling in His creation.

Following Genesis, we will study James. The epistle James is one of the most practical books in the Bible. This course’s lessons encourage each class member to lead a more consistent, caring Christian life and to explore the practical application of faith in family and society.

Next Gen Ministry

The CBS Children & Youth Ministry uses age-appropriate lessons to bring the benefits of in-depth Bible study to children. School-age children, preschoolers, and even babies learn to enjoy God's Word at the same time their parents do in the Adult Classes. Children learn how to have a relationship with Jesus and study the Bible on their own. Caring teachers lovingly support each child's spiritual, emotional, mental, and social developement. The ministry also helps to encourage and assist parents in the spiritual leadership of their families.
